Women Of Color Caucus (WOCC)

Caucuses offer Women of Color and opportunity to:

• Create unity and support for and among Women of Color;
• Receive mentoring from a broad network of Women of Color;
• Gain new ideas and obtain materials that are significant to Women of Color and diverse communities;
• Develop relevant leadership strategies for Women of Color;
• Discuss problems, concerns, strategies, and solutions pertinent to Women of Color; and
• Advocate for the inclusion of voices of Women of Color and other diverse communites.

Members of the WOCC have the opportunity to learn strategies to:

• Help direct and impact program service delivery in diverse communites;
• Identify and define ways to address sexual assault and doemstic violence in communites of color by increasing awareness and information about incidence and prevalence; and
• Impact public policy decisions.
